finishing - implementation
We proceed with the interior fit-out based on the prepared design documentation, service schedule, and shopping list.
The sequence of work is established in a schedule, and we document progress through photos and videos.
A full-scope turnkey interior project-encompassing layout modifications (walls, utility systems), skim coating, painting, bathroom finishing, and the installation of flooring, doors, stairs, custom cabinetry, lighting, curtains, and freestanding furniture - takes an average of 14-16 weeks to complete.
The descriptions below outline the various stages of the finishing process.

01
Handing over your apartment
- We begin with a meeting at the site to hand over the premises. You will leave the keys with us for the next dozen or so weeks, during which the design concepts will be brought to life.
- At this stage, you should ensure that the premises are already connected to all necessary utilities, i.e., electricity, water, and heating.
- Your next visit to the site will take place after the functional layout has been modified and the electrical and plumbing systems have been installed.
02
Orders and first works
- We place orders for the materials listed in the cost estimate.
- The contractor will protect the windows, doors, and radiators, replace the lock cylinder, and begin work on modifying the functional layout.
- This stage involves work that will later be concealed. This includes modifications to the electrical and plumbing systems; application of waterproofing in wet areas; installation of concealed components and drywall structures; installation of underfloor heating or air conditioning systems (if ordered); installation of pocket door or concealed door cassettes (if ordered), etc.
- We will also take all necessary measurements for custom joinery and built-in furniture.
- Once the work on the functional layout changes is complete, we will invite you to visit the site.
03
Actual finishing
Next, we will proceed to the main finishing works, which include:
- Carrying out all work related to rectifying imperfections - plastering, leveling corners, or repairing wall cracks
- Applying skim coats or decorative plaster
- Installing ceramic tiles
- Installing flooring and baseboards
- Painting walls and ceilings
This stage takes by far the longest. Your interior will take shape and be "dressed" with colors, flooring, and tiles. We will once again invite you to a meeting at the construction site.

04
Furnishing
It's time to furnish your new home with furniture and appliances.
- The contractor leaves the site, making way for the carpenter - booked well in advance - to install custom-made fixtures such as wardrobes, bathroom and kitchen cabinetry, and new appliances.
- This is also the time to take measurements for elements that could not be measured earlier - such as kitchen countertops, if they were to be made of stone or engineered stone.
- Once the furniture installation is complete, the contractor returns to the site to install the remaining interior finishing elements and refine the details.
05
Details
We are nearing the completion of the project, a stage where details play a crucial role. The contractor is making all necessary adjustments and installing elements that are best left until the end to avoid the risk of damage or soiling. These include, among others:
- interior doors with frames
- shower enclosure
- bathroom fixtures
- mirrors
- skirting boards
- curtain rods
- light fixtures
Finally, we bring in other specialists to install the remaining elements - which also required clean installation conditions - such as air conditioning units, window treatments (sheers, drapes, blinds, etc.), and freestanding furniture.
02
Interior handover
- The premises are almost ready for handover. We invite you for a final walk-through before handover so we can review the results together
- We thoroughly clean the interior—washing all surfaces: floors, wall tiles, bathroom fixtures, countertops, inside cabinets and wardrobes, windows, and doors. The property is move-in ready
- We schedule the handover date
- We meet for the final handover and give you the keys. You can now move in and start enjoying your new PRÓG interior
- From this day, your warranty period begins, during which we guarantee servicing for your interior for 24 months
